Scandinavian furniture retailer IKEA provides a free coffee area in its Shanghai store and word has gotten around town that Tuesday and Thursday are meet-up days for middle age singles.

They're trouble makers.

Although the store has a very big sign telling them all the DONT'S they're to avoid while they eye each other up; they do whatever they feel like doing.
 
Wang Chaowu, a security guard for the canteen, said members of the group often throw garbage and spit in the canteen.


They are also extremely loud and noisy, disturbing other customers. And once when a security guard tried to get them to tone things down, he was splashed with a cup of hot coffee and seriously scalded on the chest.
